Smart Valves

When EMCON Technologies (now Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies) needed a controller to vary an intelligent exhaust valve, based on vehicle CAN bus input in real time, they came to LHP Software Solutions.  By creating a hybrid between an embedded systems hardware interface and Windows application development (using .NET 3.0 and WPF), LHP was able to create a system which could easily be updated as prototyping evolved while delivering for the lowest possible cost.  LHP provided CAN interfacing through a flexible .NET-based CAN software stack previously developed internally.  This helped reduce schedule time, risk, and cost.  LHP also designed and fabricated the hardware, including a custom PCB and enclosure.  EMCON (Faurecia Emissions Control Technologies) has since placed orders for new hardware and software for new valve models.  This project also helped EMCON’s Columbus, IN based Technology Center impress its new parent company, Faurecia.  This example shows how LHP can provide the entire spectrum of services and technologies on a single project.

Customer Surveys

LHP would like to take this opportunity to thank its customers for giving its Engineering Resources (LER) division an average rating of 9.3 out of 10 on our customer survey.  The survey consisted of a simple question, “On a scale of 0 - 10, how likely would you be to recommend LHP to a friend or a colleague? (0 = not at all likely, 10 = extremely likely)”.

At LHP Software, it is extremely important that we exceed our customers' expectations. To facilitate continuous improvement, we periodically send out surveys to help assess our performance.   A survey typically takes only about two minutes to fill out; please help us in our assessments by filling one out when you receive it.  Your time and feedback is appreciated!
