China, the State of Indiana and LHP
The Chinese economy is the third largest in the world and is the fastest growing of the world’s major economies. China became the world’s largest automotive market in 2009 and has an electronic information industry that is growing three times as fast as the overall economy. LHP opened its first Chinese office in 2005 in the city of Wuhan to support China based clients and to provide offshore capabilities to U.S. clients. US clients are able to leverage LHP’s combination of offshore rates and onshore support when taking advantage of our integrated nearshore solution.

LHP has also worked closely with the State of Indiana in attracting Chinese investment into Indiana. On May 4th, Gov. Mitch Daniels formally inaugurated a 60,000 sq. ft. logistics facility in Columbus Indiana. The facility serves as a warehouse and distribution center for Techtop Motor, a subsidiary of Shanghai Top Motor, a manufacturer of electric pumps and motors with sales in more than 40 countries.
